A local-first experience. An anonymous user ID. Your own creations, under your control.
01. An anonymous identity, on your device
Orbilo uses a randomly generated user ID to recognize your local visitor profile. The profile includes an automatically generated display label and your agreement preference. These records are stored on your device; Orbilo does not upload them to an identity server.
We do not ask for your real name, date of birth, address, or phone number to use the app.
02. Your creations stay local
Recipes, ingredient quantities, current mixtures, saved versions, favorites, and your own notes are stored locally so the app can remember your work. They are not collected by us or sent to a Orbilo server.
Your local user ID is the only identifier used by the app. Local flavor preferences and creations are used only to provide the features you choose on that device.
03. Information we do not collect
Orbilo does not collect your contacts, precise location, browsing history, microphone recordings, or camera images. We do not include advertising trackers or third-party behavioral analytics in the app. We do not sell your information or use your creations for advertising.
This website does not set analytics cookies, use advertising pixels, or include a contact form. Visiting a link to another service takes you outside this website.
04. Saving and sharing are your choice
When you choose to save a creation poster, the app requests permission to add that image to your photo library. The image is rendered on your device. This action does not give Orbilo a copy of your photo library.
When you choose Share, iOS opens its system sharing options. The poster and work title are provided to the destination you select. That destination may process the content under its own terms and privacy policy. Sharing is not automatic.
05. Storage, retention, and reset
Your anonymous identity is kept in iOS Keychain. Your app preferences and creations are stored in local app storage. Your device settings and Apple services may affect device backups; Orbilo does not operate a cloud backup or synchronization service for your creations.
You can use Reset Data in the app to clear the local Orbilo identity and app records. This cannot be undone. Posters you have already saved to Photos or sent elsewhere are separate copies; remove those through the relevant app or service. Deleting the app alone may not remove an identity retained by iOS Keychain.
06. When you contact us
If you choose to contact Orbilo for help, your communication provider necessarily handles the address or phone details and message you send. This is separate from automatic app data collection. We use information you voluntarily provide to address your request, not for advertising.
Please share only what is needed to explain the issue. Do not send sensitive personal information or content you do not want another person to see.
07. Adults only
Orbilo is intended for people aged 18 and over. It is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
08. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. A material change to data handling will be explained before that new handling is introduced, with permission requested where required.
09. Contact Orbilo
For privacy questions or a request about a support communication you sent, contact arlokensington@icloud.com. If your question is about local app data, we cannot retrieve it remotely; you remain in control of that data on your device.
